Ironically? I've been smoking less and less out here. Mostly due to working on aircraft, but, you know... I'm holding onto a carton a lot longer than usual these days.

On the one hand, 2nd hand smoke is worse in that the cigarette smoke is not filtered through the butt of the cigarette.

On the other hand, so-called "filtered" cigarettes are just as bad because, while it filters out much of the tar and nicotine, the smoker sucks harder, and inhales more carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide than he would in a regular cigarette.
